Where and how are your pieces made?
All SOFTIE items are made by me in Brooklyn, NY. My ceramics are formed by hand, then air dried for about a week. Once dried, I carefully transport the fragile pieces up the street to BKLYN CLAY, where I paint and glaze them. Each piece runs through the kiln two times over the course of about two weeks, thanks to BKLYN CLAY’s firing services.
Can I put SOFTIE ceramics in the microwave? What about the dishwasher?
Unless otherwise noted, my stoneware ceramics can go in the dishwasher and microwave safely.
